“Good guys vs. Bad guys “

It bothers me so much when adults, and especially leaders of any group, call those from another group “enemies” or “bad guys” as if they are children fighting in the playground or playing a game. It bothers me even more when they liberally use the word “kill” as if they are not talking about their fellow human beings. What is worse is when they celebrate the death of their “enemies”as if they themselves will never see death.

These people talk as if they are characters in a movie where they are the all-good protagonist against a totally evil antagonist. I am not sure if they use such language because they have very limited vocabulary or because it is their intention to speak to a particular audience who only know the language of children in a playground.

If they do see themselves as heroes in a movie, I hope they realize that in movies there is no hero who laughs after he has killed his enemy. It is only the bad guy who lets out an evil laugh when he thinks he has defeated the good guy.

Heroes, good guys do not enjoy killing. They do not attack just for fun.

This seems very depressing for a first post for the year after months of silence, but I just had to write it.

I wish you a beautiful and peaceful Sunday. 🙏🏻
